Here’s a corrected version of the text, focusing on clarity, flow, and conciseness:

“As a fan of New Zealand’s Fat Freddy’s Drop and their unique blend of electronica, dub, reggae, jazz, and soul, I traveled to the beautiful city of Cascais to see them perform. However, I was completely blown away by the preceding set from the Portuguese band Expresso Transatlântico. I was already familiar with their music through their albums and music videos. Their fusion of traditional Portuguese influences with a contemporary approach is incredibly effective, and the live performance elevates it to a whole new level. It was a true delight to witness the Portuguese guitar take center stage and to see the band members exuding such joy while captivating the audience.
Fat Freddy’s Drop is another band that truly excels on stage. While their albums are exceptional, their live performances transcend them. The music takes on a new life and dimension through the incredible musicianship of the band and the powerful energy they generate by connecting deeply with the audience. The seven band members and the guest MC poured their hearts and souls into the performance, delivering catharsis and collective ecstasy to the thousands of people attending the Cool Jazz festival.
The setlist included a mix of classic songs and tracks from their upcoming October release. However, the highlights were undoubtedly the extended jams and improvisations, showcasing the band’s exceptional musicianship and their deep sensitivity to the audience’s energy. Fat Freddy’s Drop is a well-oiled stage machine that thrives on the dynamic interplay between the band and its audience
