Postcards from Kuala Lumpur: The city that scratches the skies
Kuala Lumpur is not a very big city, at least compared to other major Asian cities. It is, however, a very tall city: the 12th city in the world with the most skyscrapers and the 5th with the most built in the last 10 years. It proudly boasts four of the 100 tallest skyscrapers worldwide, including the second-tallest (behind only the Burj Khalifa in Dubai): the 679-meter Merdeka 118, and the tallest television tower on the planet, the 421-meter KL Tower. I climbed this tower to experience the breathtaking vista of a truly tall city from above.
